The Northrop Grumman FUTURE TEACHERS CONFERENCE is a one day workshop that provides opportunities to learn about the teaching profession, experience dynamic K-12 classroom lessons, and attend workshops of other important topics for those who plan to be K-12 teachers. Participants attend five sessions, enjoy breakfast and lunch, and receive a conference bag full of resources and goodies.

The NEW TEACHERS CONFERENCE is a one-day workshop targeting new K-12 classroom teachers who have been in the field from one to three years. This conference serves as an exemplary professional development experience designed to assist novice teachers in navigating their way through the day-to-day activities and the challenges that new teachers face once they have a classroom of their own. Participants attend a two-hour seminar on a pertinent topic for new teachers, participate in three interactive and engaging lessons presented by exemplary classroom teachers, enjoy breakfast and lunch, and receive a workshop bag full of resources and goodies.

The DISCUSSIONS GROUPS are a series of two meetings joining five new teachers and one role model teacher to discuss concerns, issues, and accomplishments of daily classroom life. The role model teacher offers guidance and suggestions to novice teachers to help them with any issues they experience in the classroom; the new teachers share their experiences all of which we hope will ultimately enhance a new teacher's first year of teaching.
